I&#8217;d love to take my thoughts and experiences and turn them into blogs and books that would educate and entertain.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/omaser.com\/blog\/cassieslaw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/11\/the-writer2.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-27\" src=\"http:\/\/omaser.com\/blog\/cassieslaw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/11\/the-writer2-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"the-writer2\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/omaser.com\/blog\/cassieslaw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/11\/the-writer2-300x225.jpeg 300w, http:\/\/omaser.com\/blog\/cassieslaw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/11\/the-writer2.jpeg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In regards to a dream job regarding <a href=\"http:\/\/cassieslaw.org\">Cassie&#8217;s Law<\/a>, I don&#8217;t believe there is one for me. Trying to talk to politicians on a part time basis and have them see what I see in this potential law is emotionally exhausting. I take it personally when they say no. I take it personally when other adults don&#8217;t respond to my efforts to protect children from sexual abuse, like it doesn&#8217;t affect them so it&#8217;s not their concern.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/omaser.com\/blog\/cassieslaw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/11\/65699_261864257281628_1248173197_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11\" src=\"http:\/\/omaser.com\/blog\/cassieslaw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/11\/65699_261864257281628_1248173197_n-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"65699_261864257281628_1248173197_n\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also worked as a mentor with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yapinc.org\">Youth Advocate Program<\/a> of NJ for a couple years, and I got burned out. I worked with a variety of kids, and many had sexual abuse experiences in their past they were dealing with. I&#8217;d spend 5 to 10 hours per week with each child, so I knew the child and what they and their family needed, but I had the least amount of power to help them.
